Finally On WordPress
Ah, finally devoting my rants and raves to WordPress.
After dealing with Blogger, Livejournal, and even (hold your punches, folks) MySpace, hopefully this will be my last stop in an attempt to voice insanity to the masses. Not that I have anything against any of those sites (MySpace has been a critical tool in constructing my contacts up to this point), but I feel it was time to upgrade. Time to go for a more “professional” approach, for lack of a better word.
So here I am…now what? Well, the hope is to host my domain name through WordPress so I can finally set up my official website the way I want it. That’s the plan, at least–we shall see how well that plays out. Coming from a rural Appalachian background, I can assure you that I am in no way “HTML savvy”. I do well to surf the internet, create trailers for stories, and edit photos. I’m a simple man (que the Skynyrd).
With a new year comes a new focus: start doing this whole author shindig up the right way. Beyond nonstop writing like a fiend in heat, I feel that this is a good start. And with that said, I’ll start posting all blogs solely to this site instead of noodling them around and taking up precious writing time by posting them on several various blogs around the interwebs. Hopefully, dear friends, this will be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Sweet. I find that Myspace is great for author stuff, but that Blogger has an intimate feel that other sites lack. So I go both ways : )

There are various WP plugins that allow you to crosspost your blog to MySpace, Blogger, Live Journal, and of course there’s Twitterfeed.
Looking forward to seeing this place darken a bit though
